Who we are: The Kaliningrad Regional Public Organisation Association of International Experts on the Development of the Kaliningrad Region (AIKE) is an independent non-governmental association, which was initiated and founded by a group of devoted experts-practitioners who have been working on development issues of the Kaliningrad Region for years. Formally registered in Kaliningrad on May 17, 2002, today the Association brings together 16 experts from Russia, the EU and US who are supported by volunteers.

Our Mission: to provide expert support to and to promote the development of the Kaliningrad Region as a pilot region in relations between Russia and the European Union.

Our Objectives:

Ø      to consolidate efforts and coordinate activities of the experts within the implementation of development projects and programs for the Kaliningrad Region;

Ø      to exchange relevant information;

Ø      to participate in joint projects;

Ø      to contribute to and to promote a positive image of the Kaliningrad Region among the international community.
