OLN: Kaliningrad airport will be among nine Russian largest air hubs

GTRK Kaliningrad. Government of Russia endorsed the plan of development of the country’s aerodrome network in the period up to 2020. The plan envisages the creation of 9 hubs – large transit passenger air junctions, located in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk, and Samara. Later Rostov-on-Don or Krasnodar might be added to the list. In the next 8 years around 300 billion roubles (or roughly 8 billion euros) will be spent on the network development.
