OLN: Kaliningrad airport will be among nine Russian largest air hubs

GTRK Kaliningrad. [1] Government of Russia endorsed the plan of development of the country’s aerodrome network in the period up to 2020. The plan envisages the creation of 9 hubs – large transit passenger air junctions, located in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk, and Samara. Later Rostov-on-Don or Krasnodar might be added to the list. In the next 8 years around 300 billion roubles (or roughly 8 billion euros) will be spent on the network development.
