KNIA. KD-Avia, a Kaliningrad-based airline carried more than 290 thousand passengers in the first four months of 2008, the company’s press-service reported on Monday. This is a 63.3 per cent growth on previous year. Regular flights in 2008 accounted for 98.9 per cent of all flights, whereas in the first four months of 2007 the same indicator was at the level of 42.75 per cent. The company is planning further broadening of its flights geography, as well as increasing the frequency of flights on existing routes. According to the press-service, completion of the second phase of construction of Khrabrovo International Airport’s passenger transit terminal scheduled for 2008 will facilitate KD-Avia’s plans of development.
