According to representative of “Sambia” hotel complex, Anna Konstantinova, as of today the volume of advance booking has gone down insignificantly. 31% of rooms are already “sold” for the summer period (against 40% in April 2008). It was also noted that in the last few months there were certain changes in the structure of demand for hotel services. In particular, more and more clients who preferred best apartments before now choose standard rooms. Company management now book rooms of the same category as for their employees, and order relatively low-cost dinners as opposed to gala-dinners so popular before the economic turmoil began.
