Early April a closed meeting on matters of simplification of visa regime with the Kaliningrad region was held in Poland. No official information on the outcome of the meeting was made public yet. However, according to the source close to the Polish consulate in Kaliningrad it was decided to issue Polish national multi-entry visas for Kaliningrad residents.
According to representatives of tourism companies operating in Kaliningrad visa complications resulted in an 80% drop in tourism flow to Poland. Read more in Russian… [2]
