Kaliningrad's Avtotor is to fully assemble Opel models

www.investinkaliningrad.ru. As Just-auto.com reports, Kaliningrad-based automaker Avtotor plans to launch full assembly, including welding and painting, of Opel's Astra and Zafira models on 26 October, the company said.

The investment in the production will amount to about EUR50m to be paid in equal parts with EUR39m euros having already been appropriated.

Avtotor assembles Chevrolet, Chevrolet-Daewoo, Cadillac, Hummer, Kia and BMW vehicles.
