Days of EU business and customs in Kaliningrad will be held in Kaliningrad on May 27-28. The event may be freely accessed by all those interested.

Governor of the Kaliningrad region Georgy Boos will address the participants with opening words.

Speakers:

• representatives of the European Commission, customs services of Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden, Norway and Russia.

Participants will get information on recent developments in the customs legislation of the EU: pre-arrival and pre-departure declarations, the status of authorized Economic Operator Registration and Identification (EORI) scheme, export control system, upgraded EU Customs Code, Integrated Tariff of the European Communities (TARIC). Participants also receive information on the impact of the customs union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan on trade relations between the EU and Russia, and other issues.
