France and Germany will contribute to the adoption of the EU directive, which would allow residents of the Kaliningrad region of Russia to travel to border areas of Poland, which belongs to the Schengen zone, without a visa. This was announced by the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, on Wednesday, June 23.
Mr. Lavrov said that he together with the Foreign Minister of Poland, Mr. Sikorski sent a relevant request to Brussels in April.
